The Lady Wildcats are making rumbles in Shelby County. The Lady Wildcats came runner up in their Area tournament, with a win over Briarwood, and a loss to Sylacauga. The Ladies moved on to the Sub-Regionals, and they took down Valley High School in a double overtime thriller, when Freshman Aliyah Cotton hit a buzzer beating Three-Pointer. The Ladies will now move on to take on Central Tuscaloosa, and with Senior leadership in Samantha Slaughter, the Wildcats are looking to keep winning.

Head Coach Ashley Philip and assistant coach Sasha Lily have done nothing but believe in the Lady Wildcats this season. They encountered a few bumps along the way, however, the Lady Wildcats are proving to everyone that they have what it takes. With four starting underclassmen, one could only expect the Lady Wildcats to keep getting better, every game increases the experience of the players, and that only means the Lady Wildcats have a chance at making it all the way.
